ABOUT The College
St. Joseph’s Degree & PG College, established in 1997 by the Hyderabad Archdiocese Educational Society, is a Co-educational Catholic Christian Minority Institution, provides holistic excellence, under the leadership of His Eminence Cardinal Poola Anthony, Archbishop of Hyderabad. Centrally located in the heartof Hyderabad, the College has a 3.04-acre Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Over the years, St. Joseph’s has grown into one of the country’s leading higher educational institutions, recognized for academic excellence, universal human values, and global employability. St.Joseph’s , a leading name ion higher education is consistently ranked among the Top 50 Colleges of the country and among the top 3 Colleges in the twin cities.
An affiliate of Osmania University, the College was granted UGC 2(f) status in 2006, permanent affiliation in 2007, and NAAC ‘A’ grade in 2008. It achieved Autonomous status and UGC 12(B) recognition in 2011, followed by PG Autonomous status in 2014. The institution was re-accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade in 2014 (2nd Cycle), awarded B++ in 2021 (3rd Cycle), and its Autonomous status was renewed in 2017 and 2022, with an extension up to 2027. As a self - financed institution, St.Joseph’s offers 18 Undergraduate and 2 Postgraduate programmes across Commerce, Science, Psychology, Mass Communication & Journalism, English Literature, and Business Management.
